Who are we?
Ave Maria Pre and Primary School is a nurturing and forward-looking educational institution located in Kashamwa Town, within Geita Municipal, Geita Region, Tanzania. We are dedicated to providing high-quality education that shapes pupils academically, morally, socially, and spiritually.
Our school combines strong academic foundations with modern teaching approaches, international language programs, vocational skills training, and a strong commitment to social responsibility. We believe that every child deserves access to quality education regardless of their background.
Programs Offered
At Ave Maria Pre and Primary School, we offer a well-balanced range of academic, language, and vocational programs designed to nurture learners academically, socially, and practically while preparing them for future success.
Pre-Primary Education
Our Pre-Primary program provides a strong foundation for early childhood development through play-based learning, creativity, and guided activities. Children develop basic literacy, numeracy, communication skills, and positive social behavior in a safe and caring environment.
Primary Education
We offer a comprehensive primary education program that follows the national curriculum while integrating modern teaching methods. Our goal is to develop academically competent, disciplined, and confident learners prepared for future education and life challenges.
International Language Programs
To prepare learners for a globalized world, Ave Maria Pre and Primary School offers international language education. Pupils learn French and Chinese (Mandarin) from Class One to Class Six, helping them build communication skills, cultural awareness, and global confidence.
Vocational Skills Training
In line with the national education policy, we provide vocational training alongside academics. Our programs include ICT (Information and Communication Technology) and Tailoring and Sewing Skills, enabling pupils to gain practical, hands-on skills that promote creativity and self-reliance.
Free Education Sponsorship Program
Giving Hope Through Education
Through our Free Education Sponsorship Program, we support orphans and children from vulnerable families by providing them with free education and learning support.
The program was launched in 2026 and currently supports 20 children who are studying free of charge. Starting from 2027, the school will sponsor 12 vulnerable children every year, ensuring sustainable and long-term educational support for the community.

Message from the Director
Welcome to Ave Maria Pre and Primary School, a learning community committed to academic excellence, strong moral values, and the holistic development of every child. As Director, it is my privilege to lead a school that believes in nurturing confident, disciplined, and responsible learners in a safe and supportive environment.
At our school, we provide quality education that combines the national curriculum with modern teaching approaches. We have embraced global education by introducing international languages such as French and Chinese, while also offering vocational skills training, including ICT and tailoring, to equip learners with practical skills that prepare them for future academic and life challenges.
